Revitalize and Purify: Blood-Boosting Green Tea Infusion
Let’s pair the practice of gua sha + herbs!
Have you heard of gua sha? Do you need more info on this ancient practice?Pairing the ancient practice of Gua Sha with a hot herbal infusion featuring spring herbs like violet and red clover creates a dynamic morning ritual aimed at promoting overall wellness.
Much like Gua Sha, these herbs are renowned for their ability to clear the blood and lymphatic system, reducing inflammation and aiding in the removal of metabolic waste. Yarrow and Peppermint further enhance the infusion by stimulating circulation, with Peppermint adding a refreshing taste and relieving tension and overnight discomfort.
Traditionally, Violet and Red Clover (contraindicated during pregnancy) have been prized for their blood-purifying properties, while Yarrow and Peppermint are valued for their circulation-promoting and soothing effects.
Incorporating green tea into the infusion provides an additional boost of antioxidants and energy to kickstart your day.
By incorporating this hot infusion into your morning gua sha practice, you can create a holistic ritual that nourishes the body in and out!

I used: 1 tablespoon of each herb + 3 cups of water. I infused for 15-20 minutes, covered. When ready, I drank it all and reused the herbs for a second infusion later that same day.
