Herbal Infusion Sipping Vinegar Elixir

Let’s make a big batch of a sipping herbal vinegar that is packed with minerals!

Minerals, for instance, are fundamental to our health, yet their importance is frequently underestimated or overlooked. These essential nutrients play a vital role in numerous physiological processes, from bone health to nerve and organ function and energy metabolism. When our bodies lack adequate mineral intake, it can manifest as various symptoms or health issues. Minerals and other nutrients help to rebuild and replenish tissues and organs which have become weak due to underuse, malnutrition, or other reasons.

The blend I offer showcases a selection of remarkable mineral-rich herbs: Chickweed, red clover, oatstraw, peppermint, and a bit of rosemary.

Instructions:

>In a glass jar, combine the fresh or dried herbs. 1-3 tablespoons of each herb, about 1/3 of the jar.

>Pour the ACV over the herbs in the jar. Make sure herbs are fully submerged.

>Seal the jar with a lid and let it sit in a cool, dark place for about 2-4 weeks. Best to use parchment paper in between if using a metal lid.

>Store at room temperature away from direct light.

>You can shake the jar gently every day or when you remember.

>After the infusion period, strain the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean jar or container. Compost those herbs.

>Store the elixir in a cool, dark place.

>Consider taking 1 tablespoon 3x daily.

>Add a bit of honey or water to dilute if necessary. Add to your bone broth to pull minerals from the bones. Use as a salad dressing, too.

>This herbal vinegar should be good for a year.

> If it has any chunks, turns black, shows signs of mold, or smells odd I will discard it.
