Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups dehydrated milk powder
Whole milk powder is preferred for superior moisturizing benefits.
1 1/2 cups Epsom salts
Facilitates muscle relaxation, reduces inflammation, and promotes detoxification.
1/2 to 1 cup dried herbs (Optional)
Choose potent herbs such as lavender, chamomile, calendula, or rose petals for added therapeutic benefits. I used calendula!
Essential Oil Blend:
23 drops of your chosen essential oil blend
6 drops of Black Spruce: Grounding, mental clarity
5 drops of Lavender: Calming, skin healing
5 drops of Geranium: Emotional balance, skin health

Instructions:
Combine the Dry Ingredients:
In a large jar, combine the dehydrated milk powder and Epsom salts.
Incorporate the Essential Oils:
In a separate small measuring cup, combine the 3 tablespoons of carrier oil with the 23 drops of essential oil blend.
Mix thoroughly to ensure the essential oils are fully diluted in the carrier oil.
Pour the carrier oil and essential oil mixture into the jar containing the dry ingredients.
Stir to ensure the oils are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Incorporate Dried Herbs
Add dried herbs directly on top. Cap and shake jar to infuse all ingredients together.
Enhance Herb Effectiveness (Optional):
Use a Muslin Bag or Sachet:
Place the dried herbs in a muslin bag, cheesecloth, or a clean, tightly tied sock. This allows the herbs to steep in the bathwater without dispersing directly, maintaining their potency and preventing residue.
Alternatively, Increase Herb Quantity:
If you prefer not to use a sachet, increase the amount of dried herbs to 1 cup to ensure their beneficial properties remain effective even when diluted in a large bath.
Store the Herbal Bath Mix:
If not using right away, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the efficacy of the essential oils and prevent moisture from affecting the dry ingredients.
Prepare Your Herbal Bath:
Fill your bathtub with your desired water temperature.
Add the Herbal Bath Mixture:
Pour all of the bath mix under the running water to help it dissolve and disperse evenly.
Optional Herb Infusion:
If using a muslin bag or sachet, place it in the bathwater to allow the herbs to steep and infuse their benefits into the water.
Stir the Water:
Gently stir the bathwater to help all ingredients dissolve and distribute uniformly.
Enjoy Your Bath:
Soak and Relax:
Immerse yourself in the bath and soak for 20-30 minutes.
Allow your skin to absorb the moisturizing and soothing properties of the ingredients while your muscles relax and your mind is uplifted.
Post-Bath Care:
After soaking, gently pat your skin dry with a soft towel to keep the oil on the skin and maintain the skin's softness.
Naturally Clean the Tub:
Rinse Thoroughly: After each use, rinse the bathtub to prevent residue buildup from milk, salts, and essential oils, which can become slippery or attract bacteria. Try using this natural ingredient Herbal Cleaning Powder Blend to dissolve leftover oil and keep your bath tub clean.
