Herbal hair oiling offers a holistic approach to hair care, harnessing the power of nature to achieve luscious, vibrant locks.

Herbal hair oiling is a centuries-old practice revered for its ability to nourish, strengthen, and beautify hair naturally.

By infusing carrier oils with potent herbs and botanicals, herbal hair oils deliver a concentrated dose of nutrients directly to the scalp and hair follicles, depending on the herbs you choose.

Additionally, the massaging action involved in applying herbal oils enhances circulation, further supporting hair health and encouraging relaxation.

That’s it. Your finished product can be used as a hair oil.

To use: The basic instructions for hair oiling typically involve these steps:

  1. Prepare the Oil: Once you have the herbal infused oil, warm the oil slightly by placing the bottle in a bowl of preboiled water. Be careful not to overheat the oil.

  2. Section Your Hair: Divide your hair into sections to ensure thorough coverage during the oiling process.

  3. Apply the Oil: Starting from the roots, apply the oil to your scalp spraying, using your fingertips, or a hair oil applicator brush. Massage the oil into your scalp in gentle, circular motions to stimulate circulation and promote absorption.

  4. Work Through Your Hair: After applying oil to your scalp, work the remaining oil through the lengths and ends of your hair, using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to distribute it evenly.

  5. Leave-In Time: Once your hair is thoroughly coated with oil, leave it in for at least 30 minutes to several hours, or even overnight for a deep conditioning treatment.

  6. Rinse or Wash Out: After the desired leave-in time, rinse out the oil with warm water and shampoo. You may need to shampoo twice to ensure all oil is removed. Try using a lemon clarifying rinse, too!

  7. Style as Usual: After oiling, style your hair as usual, enjoying the benefits of added moisture, shine, and manageability.
