Lavender Syrup

INGREDIENTS
2 cups of filtered water
1.5-2 cups of organic cane sugar
1/4 cup of fresh or dried lavender buds
DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan heat water and sugar just enough to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add in lavender. Pour into a bowl. Let steep for at least two hours and up to 1 day. Strain and compost lavender. Chill syrup for up to 2 weeks. Pour syrup in and on anything for added sweetness.
